Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!  We love to give back to the Calgary community here at Max 7, so this year we are participating in the Calgary Sun Adopt a Family. This program gives a boost to families in need. Whether it is helping struggling parents put toys under the Christmas tree or helping them buy winter coats, every little bit helps.

The holidays are always a busy time of year.
Here are our top 5 holiday cleaning tips:

  1. December is prime time when it comes to the cold and flu season. Ensure your desks, keyboards, computer mice, elevator buttons, stair railings, and doorknobs are routinely cleaned to keep your office or condo building tenants safe. While these spots are easy to forget about, they often collect the most germs from everyone’s hands.

  2. The days are getting shorter and the sky is getting darker, so make sure your light bulbs are in working order. What do we mean? We suggest energy efficient light bulbs with long lifespans, as well as regular dusting around the bulb and its socket.

  3. Holiday parties are coming up, and we all know what that means! Free food? Yes, but also more garbage and recycling. Make sure your building or office is ready by supplying all types of recycling cans and easily accessible garbage cans. Don’t forget to make sure they are all emptied more often as well.

  4. And when the party is over, having a cleaner come and take care of all of the mess is always simpler. Pre-booking is key though! Cleaners are an in-demand gift this time of year.

  5. Don’t forget to keep your carpets in good shape. With the increased traffic, carpets can lose their texture and get stained if they are not cleaned. Consider pre-booking a carpet cleaning for early January.

And there we have it. Our top 5 tips for a cleaner and less stressful winter.
